LocalWatt Resources evolved out of research work done at the Simmons Graduate School of Management in Boston, MA. within its entrepreneurship certificate program.

We perceived a clear need to aggregate consumer demand and corporate self-interest in support of renewable resources, energy efficiency and alternative transportation.  By developing marketing plans and consumer outreach programs, we help foster smart grid implementation, enable smart vehicle charging infrastructure, and motivate policy makers to take action.

In the Northeast energy sector, technology and policy innovations go hand-in-hand.  We actively participate in events and programs sponsored by the Clean Energy Council, the Renewable Energy Business Network, Net Impact Boston, and the Restructuring Roundtable.
